The last few months have been a test. A test of spirit – just as much as a test of ideas. In previous posts, there was the outline of ideas and concepts about Smart Planning: on one hand the possibility of having dynamic forms of planning, and on the other the potential to open up a different style of dialogue with citizens, in which city-making is not in the hands of experts and technocrats: it emerges from the social and political arenas.

 

The theory is good. The practice is a challenge.
