These projects focus on a region or part of a city that is under stress, either for economic or technical reasons. Improvement is urgent, but solutions require skilful problem solving and attention to local priorities.
Success comes from understanding and balancing contrasting aspirations of investors, planning authorities and stakeholders, and preparing actionable programmes of intervention.
Clients are often public agencies, local authorities or community organisations.
